Normally I consider it bad luck to disclose anything about a work-in-progress. When people hear that you’re a writer they always seem to want to know what's next. (Granted, a few seem satisfied with what you've already written.) In the case of the novel currently under construction, Exit from America, I decided to provide this teaser:
- quotations from other authors whose words have provided some inspiration for the new book, and
- my writing log, showing the word count I maintain for each day that I write
- the prospective “jacket blurb” used to promote the book to agents and publishers
